The first post…YIKES!
If you click on “About” on this site, then you will find a little about who THE BOOMERANG ARTISTS are. Why we are so passionate about Australia? and how this energy finds its way into our artwork? We three artists are the beginning of a journey together; perhaps not back to our beloved Australia, at the moment, but certainly to exhibit our work next summer in Denmark.
It’s an impetus to get us creating over the long cold winter here in northern Europe too! All three of us are marked by our time in the southern hemisphere and carry the spirit and warmth of the place, and its people, in our hearts. Our group name: THE BOOMERANG ARTISTS tries to illustrate how we all independently travelled to that far land, hit the mark well, but the bloody boomerang came back again. We want to show you our impressions of what we found and our creative responses.
